The Galaxy Performing Arts Society is a non-profit society composed of professional Canadian singers and performers who are of Chinese descent. The choir was formed in 1997 and since that time it has showcased numerous original pieces for Calgary audiences. Many of Galaxy's original music pieces have been inspired by China's ancient poets and scholars and composed and accompanied by pianist Fu，Ying (Joseph Fu).
