    Alshan Airport (IATA: YIE, ICAO: ZYYE), located in Alshan City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China, is a medium-sized civil airport, which was officially opened to traffic on December 28, 2006. The airport is located in the southeastern part of Alshan City, about 20 kilometers from downtown, about 15 kilometers from the center of Alshan City, and about 10 kilometers from the nearest railroad station in Alshan City. The airport covers an area of about 1.2 square kilometers, with a runway length of 2.5 kilometers and a width of 45 meters, which can accommodate large and medium-sized passenger planes at the same time. The airport has a terminal building, which can accommodate 400 people at the same time, with business rooms, lounges, restrooms and other facilities.

    Alsan Airport currently has 4 airlines, Beijing-Alsan, Shenyang-Alsan, Hohhot-Alsan and Ulanhot-Alsan, with the number of flights being about 20 per week. The airport also provides airport transfer service to and from the airport to Alsan city.
