Xichang Qingshan Airport, located in Xichang City, Sichuan Province, China, is a medium-sized civil airport, which was officially opened to traffic on December 28, 2006, and is the third international airport in Sichuan Province. The airport is located in the southeast of Xichang City, about 20 km from Xichang city center, 25 km from Xichang Railway Station and 30 km from Xichang City. The airport covers an area of about 3.5 square kilometers, with a runway length of 2.5 kilometers and a width of 45 meters, which can accommodate large and medium-sized passenger planes at the same time. The airport has an international terminal, which can accommodate 500 people at the same time, with facilities such as security check, check-in, baggage claim and business lounge. At present, Xichang Qingshan Airport has opened many domestic routes, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Chengdu, Kunming, Guiyang, Urumqi and other cities, as well as international routes, such as Bangkok, Singapore, Chiang Mai and other cities.
