Daqing Saltu Airport (IATA: DQA, ICAO: ZYDQ), located in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, China, is a medium-sized civil airport and an important transportation hub for Daqing City. The airport was built in 1958 and was the first civil airport in China. The airport is located in the western suburb of Daqing City, about 20 kilometers from the city center, about 10 kilometers from Daqing Railway Station and about 8 kilometers from Daqing Bus Station. The airport covers an area of about 4.5 square kilometers and has a 2.8-kilometer runway, which can accommodate both medium and large passenger aircraft. The airport has an international air terminal that can accommodate 1,000 people in and out at the same time, with perfect service facilities for security check, baggage claim, check-in and boarding. The airport can provide at least 20 flights per day, connecting Daqing with the rest of the country.
