Dazhou River City Airport (IATA: DAX, ICAO: ZUDX), located in the city of Dazhou River, China, is a medium-sized civil airport managed by the Dazhou River City Airport Authority. The airport is located about 20 kilometers from the center of Dazhou City and about 10 kilometers from Dazhou River City District. The airport was officially opened to traffic on November 1, 2006, and is the only civil airport in Dazhou City and one of the largest civil airports in the southwest region.
Dazhou River City Airport has a 3,200-meter runway that can accommodate large passenger aircraft such as Boeing 747 and Boeing 777 at the same time. The airport has an international terminal with a capacity of more than 1,000 passengers and has comprehensive service facilities such as security check, check-in and baggage claim. The airport can provide at least 20 flights per day connecting Dazhou with cities across China, including Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Chengdu, Kunming, Guiyang, Hangzhou and Wuhan.
