Chengde Puning Airport (IATA: CDE, ICAO: ZBCD) is located in Puning Town, Chengde City, Hebei Province, which is the only civil airport in Hebei Province and the only international airport in Hebei Province. The airport is located southwest of Puning Town, about 30 kilometers from the center of Chengde, 150 kilometers from the center of Beijing, and 100 kilometers from the center of Tianjin. The airport was officially opened to traffic on December 28, 2006, and is the first international airport in Hebei Province and the only international airport in Hebei Province. The airport has a 3,200-meter runway, which can accommodate both medium and large passenger aircraft, and can meet the flight demands of domestic and foreign airlines. The airport has an international terminal building, which can accommodate more than 1,000 people in and out at the same time, and has service facilities such as security check, baggage claim, check-in and business lounge, which can meet the travel needs of domestic and foreign passengers.
