    Alashankou Airport (IATA: BPL, ICAO: ZWBL) is located in Burqin County, Bazhou, Xinjiang, China, and is an international airport in Bazhou, Xinjiang, and one of the largest airports in the region. The airport is about 20 km from the county town of Burqin and about 200 km from Urumqi city.

    Alashankou Airport was officially opened to traffic on September 1, 2006, and is the first international airport in Xinjiang. The airport is equipped with a 3,200-meter runway, which can meet the requirements of large passenger aircraft for take-off and landing. The airport has an international terminal that can accommodate more than 1,000 passengers. The airport can accommodate more than 200 flights per day, with the largest proportion of domestic flights and some other international flights.

    Alashankou Airport is an important transportation hub in Bazhou, Xinjiang, and one of the most important airports in the region, making an important contribution to the development of tourism in Xinjiang.
