Bandarma Airport (IATA: BDM, ICAO: LTBV) is an international airport located in the city of Bandarma, the capital of Bandarma Province, in western Turkey. Opened in 1962, it is the third largest airport in Turkey and the largest airport in western Turkey. The airport has a 3,000 meter long runway that can accommodate large passenger aircraft. With a capacity of over 2 million passengers per year, the airport is an important transportation hub for the western region of Turkey. The airport is served by a number of airlines, including Turkish Airlines, Jetstar, British Airways and Lufthansa, with connections to all parts of Turkey as well as Europe, the Middle East and North America.
