Henan Anyang Airport (IATA: AYN, ICAO: ZHAY), located in Anyang City, Henan Province, is a domestic civil airport in Henan Province and an important transportation hub in Henan Province. Officially opened to traffic on December 28, 2006, Anyang Airport is the second civil airport in Henan Province and the first international airport in Henan Province. Anyang Airport is located in the north of Anyang City, about 20 kilometers from the city center, about 10 kilometers from Anyang Tangyin County, about 90 kilometers from Luoyang City and about 150 kilometers from Zhengzhou City. Anyang Airport has a 2.8 km runway, which can meet the requirements of large passenger planes for take-off and landing. The airport has a terminal building, which can accommodate 500 people in and out at the same time. Anyang Airport can handle 20 flights at the same time every day and can accommodate 500,000 passengers per year.
