    Bayanhot Airport (IATA: AXF, ICAO: ZBAL), located in Bayanhot City, Alashanzuo Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is an international airport in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and an important civil aviation hub in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The airport was officially opened to traffic on October 1, 2006, and is the second international airport in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, as well as the first civil airport in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The airport covers an area of about 2.5 square kilometers, with a runway length of 2.5 kilometers, which can accommodate medium and large-sized passenger aircraft at the same time. The airport has a 2.5-kilometer-long runway that can accommodate both large and medium-sized passenger aircraft, and can meet the takeoff and landing requirements of A320 and B737 passenger aircraft. The airport has an international terminal building, which can accommodate 200 people at the same time, with perfect facilities for security check, boarding and baggage claim.
