Albaikhre Airport (IATA code: AVK; ICAO code: ZMAH) is located in the city of Arukobul, the capital of Arukobul Province in central Mongolia, and is the only airport in the region. The airport was originally built in 1961 but was later closed in the 1990s until it reopened in 2016.

Albaykheere Airport primarily serves local residents and tourists, offering flights to other cities in Mongolia and international destinations. The airport`s facilities are relatively simple, with only a 2,100-meter runway and a small terminal building. Currently, the airport`s main airline is MIAT Mongolian International Airlines, which offers regular flights to cities such as Ulaanbaatar.

Although the airport is relatively small, it provides important transportation services to Arukobul Province and surrounding areas, and provides a convenient air hub for travelers to central and southern parts of Mongolia.
