Anshan Teng`ao Airport is a civil airport in Anshan City, Liaoning Province, located in Teng`ao Town, Tietong District, Anshan City, about 25 kilometers from the center of Anshan City and about 150 kilometers from the center of Shenyang City. Teng`ao Airport was officially opened to traffic on November 1, 2006, and is the third international airport in Liaoning Province and the second domestic airport in Liaoning Province. Teng`ao Airport has a 3,000-meter runway, which can accommodate large and medium-sized passenger planes at the same time, with an annual takeoff and landing capacity of 500,000 sorties and a total investment of about 350 million yuan in airport construction.
