Seascope Insurance Services, Seascope was formed in 1970, a time when significant consolidation in the London shipping market brought together several major players in the ship broking, sale and purchase and marine insurance fields. As one of the fastest growing companies at the time Seascope grew to over 200 people, offering a one-stop shop for all a ship-owner’s business needs. In the 1980’s the group was purchased by a merchant bank, which was soon followed by management buyout for our shipping colleagues and other areas .
Seascope Insurance Services, The marine insurance team became independent in 1989 and the majority of our senior staff have now been with the company for several decades. The company now houses almost forty staff in our historic Georgian building on Mansell Street, while our associated office in Hong Kong now has a dozen specialists operating the Far East markets.
