The Montreal Chinese orchestra has long history and it is an apolitical, non-religious and non- profit organization, whose purpose is to promote Chinese traditional music and, to blend one’s inner life with profound music. Members are include lovers of traditional Chinese music from all professions in Montreal.
It’s goal is to promote Chinese heritage and classical music, by recruiting new and old generations alike. New memebrs are always welcomed, and encouraged to practice on a regular basis. No matter what your talent is: erhu, sheng, flute, yangqin, Guzheng, pipa, Ruan, Sanxian, Yueqin, Liuqin, music recording, sound effects, etc. – We would like to welcome you to join us. This website is a small step towards our collective goal. It is our hopes and dreams to see our goal flourish, and hopefully, we can gather more members with the same interests and passions. Through this platform, we can practice regularly, enjoy the music that we all love, and share our musical passions with others.
