Daniel Dezhan Li received his LL.B. from Beijing (Peking) University and passed the National Bar Exam in 1996. He was a college teacher in Wuxi, Jiangsu, and then a lawyer in Beijing, before he came to the United States.
He received his J.D. cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, and was admitted to practice law before all the Courts of the State of California in 2003. He is also admitted to practice law before California Northern District Court, California Eastern District Court, California Central District Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
He served on the Editorial Board of Minnesota Intellectual Property Review. He completed his third year coursework at University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, and was a member of Berkeley Technology Law Journal.
He worked for an insurance company and a law firm before he opened his own law office.
He has a California real estate broker license (Lic. # 01849316). He is a member of Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS® (SCCAOR), California Association of REALTORS® (CAR), and National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
He was selected by Super Lawyers magazine to Rising Stars 2013 in the category of real estate attorney. Up to 2.5% of the attorneys in Northern California are selected to Rising Stars.
