  • Hong Kong International Airport

Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) is one of the busiest and most advanced airports in the world. Located at Changi, Hong Kong, HKIA is the main air transportation hub of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China.

Officially opened in 1998, HKIA is a modern airport covering an area of approximately 1,255 hectares. As one of the world's busiest cargo airports and one of the world's largest airports in terms of passenger traffic, the Hong Kong International Airport has long been recognized for its efficiency, safety and excellence in service.

The airport has been designed with future development needs in mind and incorporates advanced technology and green concepts. Facilities such as runways, aprons and terminals at the Hong Kong International Airport are built to the highest international standards to accommodate the landing, take-off and parking needs of a wide range of aircraft.

The Hong Kong International Airport has two main passenger terminals, namely Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 1 handles mainly international flights while Terminal 2 focuses on flights from Asia. Both terminals offer a wealth of shopping, dining and lounge facilities, making them extremely convenient for travelers.

The airport is also home to SkyPier, a dedicated facility for passengers traveling to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) crossing in the Pearl River Delta region. Through SkyPier, travelers can achieve a smooth transfer between land, water and air, greatly facilitating cross-border travel.

Hong Kong International Airport is committed to enhancing the passenger experience and has introduced advanced technologies such as self-service check-in and self-service baggage storage. The airport also regularly organizes cultural events and art exhibitions to provide passengers with a rich cultural and entertainment experience.

The Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) has become increasingly important in the global aviation industry, not only as the transportation hub of Hong Kong, but also as one of the key hubs connecting the Asia-Pacific region and the rest of the world. Its excellent facilities, efficient operations and attention to passenger needs make it a model in international air transportation.
