Dr. Audrey Sheu came from a medical family background, so from a young age she knew that she wanted to be involved in the healthcare field. During her Bachelor of Science studies in biology and psychology at UCLA, Dr. Sheu decided that she wanted to be a dentist to combine her desire to be in the health field and her affinity for working with her hands. Dr. Sheu completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery training at University of Maryland, Baltimore and Loma Linda School of Dentistry. Dr. Sheu practiced general dentistry for two years. In that time, Dr. Sheu found that she particularly enjoyed working with children of all ages. Wanting to ensure that she could provide the best care to her pediatric patients, Dr. Sheu returned to Loma Linda Hospital for her post-graduate specialty training in pediatric dentistry.
