Greater Boston Chinese Cultural Association GBCCA was founded at the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Dorchester, MA. in 1956 and officially incorporated in the State Of Massachusetts in 1963.
From 1981 to 1992,Greater Boston Chinese Cultural AssociationGBCCA rented space at The Field School in Weston as its activity center. After years of community efforts, the Greater Boston Chinese Cultural Association GBCCA acquired the building at 437 Cherry Street in West Newton in 1993 as the permanent site of its headquarters and establish the Chinese Community Center.
GBCCA, a non-profit and non-political organization, presently has a membership of Over a thousand in the greater Boston area. The main source of income of Greater Boston Chinese Cultural Association GBCCA are from annual membership dues and donations.
