Dr.Hauschka Singapore Dr. Hauschka is the brand name given to the range of skin care and cosmetics made by the German company WALA Heilmittel GmbH. The brand name originates from WALA's founder Dr. Rudolf Hauschka, who established the WALA laboratories in 1935 with the purpose of formulating anthroposophic medicines from water-based plant extracts using Dr. Hauschka’s unique rhythmic manufacturing process. In 1967 WALA launched the Dr. Hauschka Skin Care brand—a collaboration between Dr. Hauschka and Viennese cosmetologist Elisabeth Sigmund, who had begun experimenting with the use of WALA’s medicinal preparations in the skin care products she formulated for her clients in Stockholm, Sweden. Their approach was based on the belief that beauty and health are deeply entwined; together, they developed products using plant extracts without synthetic chemical emulsifiers and featuring fragrance mixtures from natural botanical essential oils. Since the initial launch, WALA has continued to expand its range of Dr. Hauschka personal care products, including a complete line of make-up first launched in 1999.
