Dr. Barbara Shang received her Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University with dual honors in Microbiology & Immunology and the Humanities Honors Program. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine where she was a Dean's Scholar. Dr. Shang completed her internship in internal medicine at UCLA and her ophthalmology residency at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital and at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center. She is a board certified eye physician and surgeon specializing in the microsurgical techniques of cataract extraction and other procedures.
